Winter wedding photography at Chatsworth
Chatsworth is a truly magical place to get married in Winter. After Christmas, the house and gardens are closed to the public so you get the place to yourself. Normally the courtyard is bustling with walkers and families until early evening.
Kristy and Julian were married on a Crisp, February day, the sun was out and the day was perfect. Kristy got ready with her bridesmaids just down the road at The Peacock in Rowsley. She arrived in style in a beautiful white carriage pulled by magnificent grey horses. After the ceremony, the couple took a ride around the grounds in the low afternoon sun. The light was perfect for a few relaxed portraits.
After the meal and speeches, Kristy and Julian had organised a casino for the guests to enjoy. This filled the gap between the excitement of the speeches and the first dance nicely. We even got outside for one last portrait, a silhouette against a gorgeous sunset.
I am proud to be recommended by Chatsworth and have more information on my dedicated Chatsworth weddings page.
