A new site and a new start!
I guess the pandemic changed things for a lot of people. For me it made me re-evaluate my business. Weddings and events were obviously decimated in 2020 and I’m not sure things are totally back to normal even now!
In February last year, I decided that instead of chasing every wedding booking and filling every weekend in the Summer, I would allow other areas of my photography some space.
I will still be photographing weddings, but this site will not purely focus on them. I will be spending more time photographing people in a more leisurely way, portraits and also staying with my passion and photographing cycling.
During the pandemic I also got quite enthusiastic about film photography, scouring eBay for classic cameras. My enthusiasm has been fuelled along the way by the analogue community, in particular Analogue Wonderland, who stock a huge range of film and now also have a lab! Then there is West Yorkshire Cameras in Leeds, purveyors of classic film cameras, the best in the business in my opinion.
I will write some more posts about my adventures in film, but to start things off here are a few recent photographs taken on 35mm film, enjoy!
